Sometimes the logistics of preparing for a project overwhelm getting started.
I say just get started actually working on the truck. Sort the logistics as you need to when you get to that point. Throw a tarp on it at night until you can close up the cab and hood.

Motivation comes from progress.

I know about stuck projects. my 52 took 40+ years. 2 years of part time work when I got it and another 5 or so 35 years later when I finally decided it was now or never. Next up a Model T I bought before my truck and have never really worked on.
