Shipping to Canada should not be a problem. Use the US Postal Service and they will know what to do. Your postage cost will be a bit higher than for similar shipping in the 48 states but not outrageous. A DVD will be cheap to ship. A video tape may be more. I got 3 small books from the USA last week and noted the cost of shipping for them was $11 US. At our end (in Canada) we will likely have to pay a $5 fee at the Post Office plus PST and GST on the declared value. Not sure about any Customs Duty but not much of that left since the FTA. I order books from the USA and have had to pay sometimes and not other times. I suspect books are exempt and as such, an instructional video may well be. However, for the $5 is was not worth arguing about too much.

Is everything on one video? Or is this one installment and there will be other installments out later?

Great timing......I start my welding class Monday.

Does the $99 price include shipping or is there an additional charge for shipping? If there is a shipping charge, what is the total price shipped to 44089?

Let me know and I'll get a money order out some time this coming week.

Thanks!!!

I've talked to paypal and have an old account that is still active, but it is mainly a buyer type account ( like to use for buying on ebay) As a seller there are some options and fees for using their services. However I do think this is a good way to handle buy /sell transactions, so I'll update to a more appropriate account tomorrow. Also I need to get the right shipping fees, shouldn't be much for three DVD's
I'll be back here tomorrow in the evening with these matters firmed up.
Thanks everyone for your patience......eb

I’m definitely in. Let me know when you have a paypal account. Also, I will be willing to pay the extra amount to use paypal. I know they take a little for their services.

I would also like a DVD set.

I am interested in cab repair. Is that covered in less than the whole set?

Thanks!

Is this all of your sections for the $99?

Or is this one installment and there will be other installments out later?

$99 is for a three DVD set that covers the typical rust repair on the pick up cab (bare cab) Each DVD is approximately an hour in length.
The three DVD's cover rust cut out, front floor pan replacement, rear floor area, cab corner, cab supports, fitting kick panel, door jam extensions, rocker panel, and other areas.
These repairs were done on a very rusty cab, many cabs won't be as bad as the one that was used for the videos.
I'm in the process of editing other videos that will be an hour or less. These will cover door repair, frame shortening, fuel filler patch fill, complete "A" pillar replacement, rusty cowl repair, and other areas

OK, first I've had several questions about if the DVD's are ready, YES they are.

About paypal, as I said before, I have the buyers (basic) paypal account. However, Paypal wants me to "upgrade" to a different account so I can take credit cards but I have taken cards in the past and am sure I can set it up with my bank and be able to take them again.

So my question is what is the advantage of using Paypal? If I do the paypal upgrade and someone wants to pay with a credit card, I would need to ship with a signed returned receipt, that would add 4 or 5 dollars to the cost of shipping (this would only be credit card payers only)

..........FEEDBACK PLEASE...........

Well that I know of, my credit card is attached to my paypal account, so when I make a purchase, paypal takes the money from my credit card and forwards it directly to the persons paypal account, so I don't think that you would need a signed receipt returned since it is paypal that I am paying and they are giving you the money. I can also put as much in mypaypla account and use it when I need it.
So regardless as long as YOU have an account that will accept money then we should be good to go.

I think I will still get you to ship it to my friends address in NY and I will get them from him when I see him in March.

you can even create a button in your paypal profile and email that to people and as long as they have paypal it is taken care of. PM me or email me ( address is in my sig). So I can get you the $$$ and you can ship one full set to me.

Let me know.

edit: I just checked and my paypal account is also linked to my bank account. So once you give me a paypal account to send the $$$ to we are good to go.

Try this, go to your pay pal account look under your profile,
then selling preferences, and lastly payment recieving preferences.
then make shure that the box that says block credit card is not checked. Hope this helps.

ebfabman, The only advantage I know about to paypal is some people like to pay that way. From a buisness standpoint it is expencive for the vendor. When you upgrade to a buisness account with paypal the fees go up!! $100.00 transactions wind up costing you somewhere around $6.00 as I remember and they take up to 5 buisness days to deposite your money. I accept it myself, but only reluctently and only if there isn't any other option. WES www.ClassicHeartbeat.com

Videos

I purchase things on Ebay all the time and pay with credit card.
I have yet to have to sign for anything. They usually ship UPS and they leave them on my porch.

I am interested in your videos waiting on how to pay you !
Paypal is easy since you have your money right away don't have to go to the post office and get money order and send it. It saves probably 4 or 5 days in receiving your money.

Thanks
Charlie

Ebfabman,
I would think that you could accept payments via Paypal at least for non credit card orders. I think the fees involved are for use of a credit card to pay via paypal. I may be wrong but I've seen several people on e-bay stating they would not accept credit card paypal orders unless the purchaser agreed to pay the fee. I'm one of those individuals who prefers paypal because money orders are a hassle for me. Checks are a pain for both parties. I've purchased before using plastic directly. No paypal involvement. That usually works if a person owns a business which accepts credit card orders already. Hope you get it worked out. I'd like to see your stuff.

After looking into it in some depth, heres what I've decided.

Don't really want to take a $6.00 hit when using paypal. The three DVD set will retail for $129 and the $99 price is an intro offer to board members and is the wholesale price, sorry for any inconvenience.

Here is what I've been requesting from everyone who wants the three DVD set ASAP.

Thank you for your interest in the videos.

Heres the info

Make money order out to ebfabman and send it to

ebfabman
PO BOX 5454
Concord, NC
28027

The three DVD set is $99+ $5 s&h

Thanks.....eb

meathead95, I sure did. I took the day off to hang around the house and take care of some personal business and also sit my daughter. Everytime I get the keyboard out to answer you, she takes the opportunity to "push some buttons".........LOL Makes typing somewhat difficult

Anyway, sounds like a project I would love to take on. However unless your particular blazer has some specical significance, like being in your family since new, it may be way cost prohibitive to hire such a job out. Doesn't mean it wouldn't be a fun and gratifying project to take on yourself.

One project I have in the works is doing a video on building a 2wd blazer from a pick up. Just another way to save some old iron from the shreader
