Very Nice. How much time / $ have you had to spend to get the body in that shape? Its causing envy!

Thanks for the comments
as soon as i finish building my new motor (421) I will probably put my attention on the stance. I swear this thing needs velcro motor mounts, In the last 18 months i have had 6 different engines in it.
Ranging from a chevy 302, 2 327's, 2 406's, and a 350. I started working on the truck when i was a freshmen in highschool and i am now a freshmen in college. I never have kept track of the cost, if would have i might have gotten too scared to finish it.

SLAM IT!!! If airbags have ever crossed your mind, don't even mess with the static drop go for gold and get her in the weeds.

Do some research. Find some magazines that have pictures of your model truck and pick out some ideas that might appeal to you. That's what I do. I also get alot of ideas and pics from this board.
Your truck looks great but just like my truck I have a pretty wide rubber to fender gap (well, in the front anyway. I have some nice wide fatties in the back).

with airbags wouldn't i have to cut out the middle of the floor? i would hate to tear out the oak floor.

to go super low yes, but with a small C-notch 2" or so you would have no probs with pumpkin clearance. You could always rework the floor and raise it up.

Your truck looks sweet and I like some of those years.
The only one I dont like is the 1960 hood. I had one just because it was sooooo butt ugly. I drove it for about 6 months till I finally got tired of looking at it. |
