Hey, thanks for all the welcomes!! Good to hear from you all and thanks for the info. Will do a little research on some of these responses and will be back soon. Now have to recuperate a little, went sledding (Polaris 700) for most of the weekend. Beat hell out of myself...geez, ridin the harley for a couple of hundred miles never kicks my my butt like sledding. Thanks again all and another question while I'm here. Have seriously considering a big block for my 67. Originally had a 6 in it, now running a 72 350 with a 700R4. The 350 I'm sure would do just fine but she is my baby and 454 would sure be a sweet touch. I have been in the papers for close to a year trying to find a stock, running motor that I take my own sweet time rebuilding. I figured I should be able to pick something up for $1000-1500. Am I in the ball park? I know I can pick up a built one for $3000-4000 but with the other stuff I have been picking up, this kind of dough is hard to come up with...and as my wife continues to say, "you sure don't look like Donald Trump. Oh yeah, twice tried to send a pic of my trucks and I keep getting message saying file is too big. 768K??? Hav't figured this out yet but will soon.

Welcome

You won't want for information or opinions on these trucks anymore. This is the place. On suspension changes I would agree with an earlier posting by TomsC10R, Classiic is just great. I just bought springs, shocks and a hidden hitch kit from them.

Here is the link if you haven't been there yet.

http://www.earlyclassic.com/

If you phone the technical line for questions, typically you will get Dave the owner.

Good luck.
