if you got the column out it's hardly worth getting out a torch. Like others have said it only take a few minutes to take it out once you get at it. and you don't risk burning anything.

YOU DON'T HAVE TO REMOVE THE STEERING COLUMN OR THE PEDAL ASSY. OR ANYTHING ELSE. YOU CAN DO IT IN ABOUT 5 OR 10 MINUTES. JOHN
