I'm still looking for the magazine article that gave alot of info about where the ramjet motors are assembled. In that article was some good info about the marine motors.
I spoke w/Roger on Sat about getting one of the motors on a stand & removing the pan today. I'll keep updating as we learn more. Bagged78, that blazer is kicka$$..... how about some drivetrane, chassis, wheel&tire/sizing/brand info?

Well, I am refinancing my home at the moment so I spent my whole weekend sprucing up the outside appearance so that the appraisal would possibly be a little more than expected. After mowing the grass, laying down 100 bags of cypress mulch, then loading up the crew cab and the trailer to go to the dump twice, I didn't get much done on any vehicle! I was glad to return to my desk job and sit in front of the computer today!

I ordered another RidePro unit and tanks for my 4-way upgrade. I still need to get the guages and another compressor though.
I did start sheeting one side of our new shop, aka my trucks new home.

ROTFLMAO!
Tim probabally lost since he carried his front wheels all the way down the track past the finish line...therefore he didn't trip the beams until his rear tires crossed! He changed his jets you know.

Saturday Didn't do much. Went to Wally world and Blew $500. Doc says I need to excersize to get my Cholesterol under control. Seems mowing the yard with a lawn tractow does not count as execise.....go figure LOL.
So we bought a couple of Schwins and a seat for the 3 year old and all the required gear and a few other things. Might need to go back and buy bike #3 for the 11 year old stepdaughter. SHe wan'ts to bring her bik from her dads house (she gets to use it 4 days a month). I don't feel bad about buying her another one and then handing it down to the 3year old when she is older. Sunday I Mowed the yard and sprayed a weed and feed. Then I needed to get 2 bikes and the old rims in the garage. So I rotated the crap in the garage till I could mix that stuff in LOL. I did wash the Burb. The tire jocky had to run his greasy hands all over the truck when he installed the new wheels. So I got the greasy hand prints gone...THe sides of the truck are bright white and not yellow/gray. LOL. Didn't do dick on the 75. Need to messwith it more to get rid of the miss. Wife and I also talked more about moving. We have big time out grown the house. House is for sale by my mom. Same street just 5 houses up. She's getting a little older and I wouldn't mind being a little closer. Being close enough that her grandbabies could visit whenever would be neat as well. House is a better size and has a MUCH better parking situation for the fleet. Problem is out current hous is nowhere near ready to sell and we have so much crap most of it needs to be somewhere else when we do sell. I really need to buy a house move my junk then fix up so I can sell. Wish I had the cash to pull that off. Wonder if mom could float me $30-40k for a few months?

My weekend was good and bad, depending on how you look at it. My dog was attacked Tuesday (bad news), and got to come home this weekend (good news). No work will be done on the truck for a long time now.

replaced my wiper motor and washer w/ rebuilt, woo hooo, we have water on the windshield. Hasn't worked in a long time, PO, said it never worked LoL replaced turn signal stem, the old one was lookin flaky
Also, was looking under my truck and noticed that on one side of my front swaybar, the 2 bolts holding it on looked liked they were about 1/4 inch loose, replaced, retightened and was amazed at the difference in steering. Don't think it is just pyschological, can really tell a difference. Thats about it. Take Care T

Yeah, I know this post is left over from last week, but we may as well keep it alive.
I worked all weekend, so I didn't get too much truck stuff done. I did go close the deal on my new daily driver. I bought asilver 04 Hemi Ram quad-cab. Yeah, I know I must be insane buying a Dodge. If you want the long version of why I'll be glad to share. Suffice it to say that I did my research, and this was the best truck for my personal application. If it falls apart in the next two years y'all can all laugh at me. Here's a pic of one like I bought. Those fugly wheels won't be on there long though....

Ken, you have too many toys. sell some of them off, and send me the money. i'll make sure that it'll be put to good use so that you dont have to worry about "accidentally" spending it on another toy.

You probably already know from the other threads that I am trying to sell one or two off. Not that I want to get rid of any, but I am running out of space.
The 1500HD will go as soon as I get the Ram set up for work. The Harley truck would go if I could convince my wife she wouldn't mind driving a Ram SRT-10 with a 6 speed. I'll keep you in mind if I ever get any "extra" money though...:p |

Spent Saturday chasing stuff.
Buddy gave me a set of mags off a Jeep Cherokee he parted. Nearly new 235 75 x 15 Aqua treads. One of the 4 is toast. Truck broke a track arm in accident and it carved up the inside of the rim and tire. After a little time grinding the center hole a little larger to clear the hubs these were mounted on my little redneck special cargo trailer. Now it has bling. I also stopped by a Trailer place and bought new rims for our 1959 Airstream. These look like OutlawII's with no rivets. So it has new bling too. We are taking it out for the first time Aprill 17th. Tires were toast on it. I need to repack the wheel bearing adn put a ne Umbilical on it one evening. No rims for the honda.....it deserves no bling. Maybe a set of those really tacky spinner hub caps at Autozone. Saw a Skull hubcap there yesterday. LOL On my trip to go pick up this rims I Discoved the A.C isn't blowing cold on the burb. Were taking it to Florida next week. Compressor is kicking in so it has some pressure. Heading over to my buddies tonight let him put the gages on it and throw a couple cans of 134 in it (been converted). See if those sneaky R134 atoms excaped. Hoses that hold R12 don't always hold 134 as well. Molecules are smaller. If I have to toss 2 cans of 134 in it every season that's fine as long as that's all it is. Sunday: 1pm fired up smoker. Trout Ribs Lots of ribs. Half a ham. half dozen hot dogs. Did chores between tending it . Took dogs out at 3:30 pm for afternoon snack. 7pm unloaded nervana from smoker. Yuummmmm Yummmm. Most of this went right in the freezer and is being packed for our Florida trip next week. We have a beach house rented on St. George Island. Couldn't keep from the temptation of the ribs so we had a few for dinner. We are taking my mom. Poor woman has had 1 real vacation in 20 years. So she and her dog (totaly cool dog and about the best mannered dog your will ever meet) are beach bound. Let her have a week with her grand daughters. (lets us sneak out for a couple dinners at the local resturant as well.) Still haven't decided if I am just going to pack it all stuff into the burb or hook up the red neck special. There will be 5 people and one dog. We have two coolers (expensive to eat out on the island and stuff isn't cheap at the only grocery so hauling all in in, lugage for 4.5 (3 year old's junk doesn't take up much room). We are also hauling water for cooking and coffee. Water is really sulfer tasting there. Ohh yeah and we are taking our bikes (3). If it wasn't for the dog I would say no problem but she needs a little room to lay out for the trip. So half the cargo floor is her's. I have a roof rack for the bikes even. Coming back mostly empty. My parrents use to take us camping for 2 weeks at a time with a really small tent trailer that we pulled with a VW Station wagon...We are not even camping and I'm out of room in a freaking Suburban.
