Hey CPNE, you wouldn't happen to have any decent 72 inner and outer grilles that you might be able to part with, would you ? My inner grille is almost cracked in half, and the outer grille has a pretty good gouge in it that isn't repairable.

Didn't mean to imply that I had many really good parts in my collection (otherwise they wouldn't be outside). What I have are poor to fair pieces for the most part. You all are welcome to come and look if you want, there may be something you can use. The blazer top is going to VTBlazer and I don't have any decent 71/72 grilles other than the ones on the burb and 71 step which aren't for sale. Sorry.

It is currently in the paint shop and has been taken completely apart for paint except cab did not come off frame. Its Torch Red.

WOW, it looks like there are a bunch of us that have quite a few projects going on. I can't wait to get my 68 burb (pictured) and the 72 GMC 3/4 ton 4x4 plow truck back on the road! If you think that fender on the burb looks bad you should have seen the jeep wrangler that I hit! LOL All I need is a front fender and an inner fender! That jeep I hit needed a whole pass side rear quarter! LOL God these trucks are tough!

I know what you guys are talking about it doesn't take much to get out of control. A deal here and a trade here and next thing you know you have more projects to do in two lifetimes let alone one. However as long as I have at least 2 to drive and at least on that close to completion then Im happy.I have gotten smarter over the years at least I think I have, now I try to buy realistic projects and not BIG TIME Money Pits,Ive gotten better also at getting em where at least they are able to get on to the trailer under their own power, and as Martha Stewart would say That's a Good Thing. Now it really has to be a can't walk away from deal for my interest to be peaked.I still find them and they are a whole better when Im not looking for them, cause they usually are a whole cheaper when I kinda stumble up on them.If take a look at my signature you will see just the tip of the iceberg, haven't even added the 72 BB highly optioned 3/4 suburban to the list.

Just my truck, a 93 Mazda 323 GTi I need to recomission and sell (just needs a tidy up, some rust treating, two new tyres and a clean)
The non automotive projects include the final stages of renovating our 4 bed stone built Edwardian (1903) former Methodist Manse and garden (Ministers House), that was completely derelict when we bought it, the forge I am building in my garage so I can start blacksmithing and we're possibly adding a holiday home in France shortly that will undoubtedly need a load of work. We're going over for a week to look for a place in three weeks time, a 2,000 ish mile round trip via the Channel Tunnel plus driving around mileage, will be going in my wifes Diesel Cherokee (Liberty to you!) as theres no way I'd trust my truck over that mileage as it will be a hard high speed drive down through France.
