I never want to bend brake lines for one of these cars again. I got the back and LF done, I have to do the RF today. The ford line is a one piece line, but I may have to make mine two and connect them, I don't think I can get it in without buggering up stuff.

Also, Eastwood's tubing flare and bending tools ARE as awesome as they claim them to be.
lol sounds awful....

Got the turbo h pipe exhaust installed. The kit was flared enough and the h pipe wasnt center along the drive line. It was irritating but i got it working. Im not too happy about how low the mufflers are but we will see. Also its too quiet

Re: 1967 Mustang Coupe Build (Electra)

Well I couldn't take it! I ordered new mufflers so if anyone needs 2" turbo mufflers let me know and they are yours.

I ordered a set of Jone's FULL Boar Dual Chamber Muffler which have the same exhaust internal design as 40 Series flows. Found them for $29.99 a piece so i was pretty happy to give them a shot.

Oh and i forgot to mention on a sour note...THE BASTARD P.O. didnt remove the rot from his patch work... Found that out while installing the exhaust. So I have some cutting to do

You mean he found a hole, then patched it by putting the patch OVER the rust and not cutting the bad stuff out? That's really lazy/stupid.

Re: 1967 Mustang Coupe Build (Electra)

Yup, They are sitting on my front porch . I just ordered more sound deadener to put on the roof, some rattle can blitz black for the jams, and a 1996 Miata Center console... Heh that what happens when i see pics and its was only $80. Actually would only of been $20 if the jerk didnt break the one at pull a part. Here is what it will look like in the car.

Re: 1967 Mustang Coupe Build (Electra)

well i kinda screwed up. The new mufflers are center inlet and side outlet. Where the turbos are the opposite. It may still fit though just with some adjusting

Re: 1967 Mustang Coupe Build (Electra)

Well busy busy day but I got both the mufflers installed and they fit much much better. I also re-installed the headlights, turn signals, the drivers seat, and the drivers side seat belts. So its ready for a cruise down the road

Re: 1967 Mustang Coupe Build (Electra)

Got busy before the winter storm comes this morning. Its 60 right now and going to be 25 tonight...Wow!! Anyway got up and found a can of black primer so sanded the fiberglass down, cleaned it, and taped it off real quick. Hit it with a few coats and it matches pretty well. Should keep it decent until i have time to get it completely prepped and painted.

Also installed the grill for now and the rear bumper

They sound better but since I havent drove with them i dont really know but they do have a nice grumble to them and im thinking a bigger tip on the 2" pipes might make it louder

Re: 1967 Mustang Coupe Build (Electra)

So i have been getting frustrated lately trying to get the stereo to work. I bought 2 different CD players off ebay....I thought the first one was faulty...Figures...Keeps shutting off blah blah. Install the second one, turns on but no sound. Ran a new ground, checked the power cables, switched the power cables...After all that still nothing!!! So i said **** this...I cut the speaker line out and ran a new set of speaker wires. All of a sudden it works!! SON OF A *****!!!! All this time there was a short in the ****ing speaker wire? For REAL? O but the CD player on the new unit doesnt work...WTF!!!!! Back to the other one at some point to see if it works...So yeah im cold, **** this...

Installed my console and it works pretty damn good...Its a little tight on the boot but i have in somewhat centered and screwed into the trans mission tunnel with 3 screws...CUP HOLDER BABY!!! I will probably try to put small bolt in to hold it eventually...Im thinking put the bolts in underneath and put a nut to hold it in place then put the console on it and add a retaining nut... Yup
