Re: Die-cast 67-72
Love the diecast Dino! Did you custom make the black and the blue 60-66 pickups? I've seen the models that are, how do I say it, misformed (the Goat, the Camaro...) before but I wasn't sure how good the quality would be... were you satisfied?

I have started a thread on the '60-'66 forums, but it is not a sticky...I couldn't resist adding some of my rigs.

Hey, Dino…..those 66’s that are in the bottom of both of our threads…what are those? R/C cars? What scale? Where did you get them? I am going to have to have one of those babies!

Re: Die-cast 67-72
Here is a new one I got this past week and some of my R/C stuff.
I need to find one of the 71 bodies and put on one of the Clod Buster frames.

Re: Die-cast 67-72
Maybe if enough of us '67 - '72 guys ask these guys to make a '69 - '72 Blazer and K series they might
I have the flamed '57 pickup that I came across today at Talbot's Toyland over in San Mateo. Here's the website: http://www.sorealconcepts.com/ They have the '73 - '75 series listed on their site. I didn't see them today, just the H2's and the '57 pickup. Now I want the '57 Sub to complement the pickup. |

Re: Die-cast 67-72
I've got two of these coming. They must be showing up at the stores. I got it off ebay for a few bucks more than the store price, but I like both cars in the pack. It's a good fit for me. I've also come across a few of the high profile trucks that I'm buying up. Now I want a few more of the older jada trucks to convert to 4x4's. So far I have 4x4 versions of the von dutch trucks and the two tone white and green truck.

Re: Die-cast 67-72
I don't think that with the number of different people selling them, and for only $3-5 each, that they are custom painted.

Re: Die-cast 67-72
I bought ten pack at ToysRUs with the blue flamed truck. I am going to keep my eyes open for the two pack. I also thought they were going to be part of the HW Team series - Hot Trucks. So keep an eye out for singles with purple stripes on the side.

Re: Die-cast 67-72
Stores around here have just started stocking the 2008 HW. I haven't found any of the 69 in any kind of package. I did find a Yellow with black flames "Dodge Ram 1500" which is part of the Team: Hot Trucks Series (with purple band) 02 of 04. I'm gonna grab every one of the 69s I can find in stores. I guess I'll have to start looking at the 2-packs. We don't have a ToysRUs store here anymore.

Re: Die-cast 67-72
Another word on the two packs. Another ebay seller had one, but the car was a volkwagon if some sort, non-beetle. I really wish the mustang was black with no stripe, but this will be ok. Thinking KITT here.

The Blue flammed '69 can be found at Target in the two packs, usually up in the impulse item area by the checkout lanes. It's also in some of the 10 packs found at Wal-Mart, Target and Toys R Us in the Hot Wheels section. Later this year it should be out in a single blister pack. The Green/White '72 w/Christmas tree is a Hallmark ornament from a few years back. Your best bet is eBay or thetoypeddler.com I haven't seen any 1/18 or 1/24 scale '67-'72 stepsides, just the '60-'66 series. |

Re: Die-cast 67-72
I found mine at WalMart. You could probably find it anywhere Hot Wheels and Matchbox are sold. It's a 2008 edition, so not all stores may have it yet.
Is the blue 69 in the attached pic, the HW you are talking about? If so, you will probably only find it on eBay or maybe a member here might have an extra for sale. $15.00-$20.00 plus shipping. These are also a limited edition. Just a little over 7000 made. They're numbered on the back of the card.
