Re: Kabwe's aka Bam's build

It didn't mean LITERALLY kicking azz. Hell, I was never any good at that. I won the only two fights I ever had a an adult because I hit first, hard, and got out of there fast! lol.

I meant you were kicking their azzes on paper, uh, er...electronic "paper"

Bam, Organize a group of the Bam "Faithful" to come over and block the thing all at once. You can stand back, direct, and make sure we don't make your truck look like wavy gravy!

Hell, we all owe you a few for the many, many good ideas we've gotten from your trucks.

Re: Kabwe's aka Bam's build

trucks looks awesome. I just read through your thread. I am hoping to be starting on a 57 pick-up my father and i started back in '92. Alot of progression has been made since back then. I want to do the mustang II front clip as well. Was it fairly easy to set-up? looking to drop an LS1 in my truck so looking for info on oil pan clearances on the new crossmember.

Hello Blue57,

Welcome to the site and its always nice to have another truck guy on board, especially another Cali guy.

The Mustang II is a really easy install if you can use a tape measure and can weld its a piece of cake.lol

As far as the LS engine and the oil pan I have 2003 5.3 and I used a Camaro/Firebird LS oil pan, pickup Tube, wingtray, and dipstick.

I hope that helps.

Thanks old man. Happy Birthday. Hope you got some time to work on the truck today. I will check out #212. Maybe I will wait for a flaming river. I like the stainless version that Ididit does not offer.

Re: Kabwe's aka Bam's build

Hey, that does look easy. I watched a video that "how its made" did on IDIDIT, and they do not have a D shaft that goes all the way up. They make the D just at the end. I guess I will forget this for now.

Re: Kabwe's aka Bam's build

I with vdog on the Truck Shop. I was treated pretty badly down there when I was spending cold hard cash (maybe just a disgruntled employee??)....... To many other shops (like Brothers) to buy from.

We need photos........

Well, I don't mean to pile on, but I'm in the middle of a problem with the Truck Shop right now. I think it will be my last order from them.

Ditto on the photos......
