You don't have one already?!

I'm still trying to find a clean 63 grille so I can swap them around when I want to change things up a bit.

Scored some white powder coated wheels and having Cory at Hurst Racing tires make up some white walls. Trying to tone down the orange a little more.

The grill came out great. Did you get it done locally?

Yes. I gave Mike at Super Chrome another chance and although expensive and not polishing the inner corners very well ,I'm moderately happy. Its above industrial, just below show and cost as much as a NASA project.

I brought it to him blasted to speed things up. He has stuff acid dipped then pre polishes the items and sends them out to plating. He then gets them back and does a color polish, kinda like a polishing chrome broker.

Thanks Chaka. If we didn't have 6"of snow, I would have pics posted up of it installed already. 35 mile one way drive to the shop on ice is no bueno in the orange truck.

Nice! Headed out with a thermos of cocoa and one of the dogs to watch the intersection at Thurston. Its a favorite off camber wipe out zone and the curbs usually get 3 or 4 wheels each night. Who needs reallity TV when we have so many stars in our backyard?!

I feel you pain. Because of my Suburban project my daily now sits outside and MI has had some crazy amounts of snow and freezing weather this winter.

Re: Crossing over, the 65 rebuild.

Just caught up on this thread... wow! Came out really nice. The colors you use really tie in well. Honestly when I first see some of the things you do I kinda question it but put it all together and it WORKS!
My truck is all white/blue. Even though I bought it that way your build really has me thinking about adding some more detail/colors.

Thanks! When I changed up the door panels to get rid of the dents and reduce the orange, my wife said it's was like driving the clowns around at the circus (don't follow up and ask your wife " how long did you work for the circus driving clowns" ) I told her the seat, visors, carpet and panels will eventually tie in together....just takes some $$$ to get there.
