Re: 72 Suburban Build

is your trans raised to compensate for the raised motor due to the dropmember or no, it looks like it is?

yah sure why not, how much taller than a stock depth one?

and your exhaust looks good by the way, looks like the front part hangs slightly below the frame or is that just the angle of the pic?

Looks good! It's seem pretty close to the wheels but I guess it's clearing. Did you take those noisy mufflers off??

Re: 72 Suburban Build

nah they are not really that close, just looks that way from the pic. mine is done almost exactly the same and it doesn't hit the tires at all from lock to lock laid out or lifted up

Yes, its raised with the motor for the dropmember. I'll measure the pans for you(there may be a good corner left of the old one to get the height...). Its all above the frame line, probably just the picture angle.

Re: 72 Suburban Build

Exhaust looks great. I took your advice, from a couple months back, and I did mine the same way while you were on your travels. I just haven't cut the holes yet.

Re: 72 Suburban Build

My son's first ride in the Burb on the way to his first car show. There was some nice stuff there. With a big block, noisy gear drive, and one chambered flowmasters he actually managed to fall asleep on the drive.

And finally...the trucks. The last one was the nicest I saw all day . The black one that my wife and son are in front of had a Hemi in it.
