Re: Post pics of your Longbed Trucks!! No short stuffs allowed!!
not sure if you know this or not, but someone stole some inches from you....lol....does your woman know you are a little short?
Where did you make the cut? was it the center of the wheel well? I'm considering doing a similar one to mine but I will shorten the wheelbase to a shortbed frame and use the front of a short bed and the length of the long bed in the rear. |

Re: Post pics of your Longbed Trucks!! No short stuffs allowed!!
Nice looking trucks!! I still prefer the Longbed Trucks with the stock height. I like a truck to work like a truck. Feel free to vote for your favorite longbed truck in this thread that was started a while back and really got some awesome support from everyone in this forum. May the best LongBed win....but with a 67-72 truck we are all winners. Thank you.

Nothing special, just my 68, a running, driving project because once they become un-drivable they sit forever, at least at my house!

I could have sworn that I posted a pic in this thread, but there is no black dot on the icon, so maybe I never did. Here's one.

Re: Post pics of your Longbed Trucks!! No short stuffs allowed!!
I posted pictures of my truck somewhere in there, but I guess I'm disqualified now since I chopped the frame down to a SWB Here is a before and after, I haven't chopped the bed yet so its running bedless for now.

Re: Post pics of your Longbed Trucks!! No short stuffs allowed!!
Here's my '68 that I have been getting road-ready. She don't look like much right now, but she runs like a top and, as they say, the brakes are good, and the tires are fair.
It too is a rolling/driving project now. Not a project at all, really. I just reliable transportation and will do what it takes to maintain that. I do see a quicky paint job coming up, and a few creature comforts. But for now, I'm a happy guy.
