So true Dino is one of the most positive influences/friends in my life, his character and willingness to give at any moment and ask for nothing in return is a rare thing this days.
Eric your right there to brotha... congrats on the donations

Re: Soon to be Crewcab Dually

What year is the front section of your frame . I am still torn as to what frame to start with on my 56 gmc crew . It was. 5 ton fire truck but I have always wanted it bagged . I picked up a motor home chassis but it has different steering than a 3/4 ton ....don't know if it will be good to bag . I was thinking 73-87 dually frame would be a better start . Any thoughts ? Thanks Dino for Your inspiration . Your old big red dually 67 is down the road from me ....who would have though it would travel to the other side of North America to another county . I followed the build and almost have my short box step side version almost finished ....I will send you some picks when I get a chance of its progress.

Re: Soon to be Crewcab Dually

Such a bummer but kinda refreshing to see a build that didn't start out very solid for you. Rust or not, I know you guys will knock it out of the park in the end!

Re: Soon to be Crewcab Dually

Wow Dino, I had no idea the Crew Cab was that rusty. You're definitely doing it right, and you've got a good guy on it. I anxious to see pictures of the progress!

I'm always blown away at how you find more trucks than anybody I know. You must have the entire Phoenix/Tempe/Mesa area scoped out. In the future, I am going to put those skills to work and see if you can find me an original paint (white) longbed fleetside box that I can make a trailer out of. When I'm done with my '64, I want a matching slammed patina'd trailer, with the same wheels as the truck.

Joe Dirt sez: Daaaaaaaang! That's gonna be nice though, to dynamat and rustkill the roof before putting the new headliner in. Have fun, this is gonna be sooo killer when done.

Re: Soon to be Crewcab Dually

This hobby is sooo cool that a "little" rust like that is nuthin for a crew like you guys. You'll have that thing solid in a snap then turn it into something at the top of the scale. You've shown us how already! YOU dude, have the vision and gumption to make some cool trucks - props!
