Re: 67-72 C/K/T-40's-90's!

I could do without that JD paint job. That's a cool truck. The Cummins 350 is cool, but I gotta have a Detroit in one of these. Those 3.55s would make it a great hiway truck

Interesting truck but I agree, it needs new Paint, Engine (Detroit like mentioned) and a few more Rear Wheels.

Damn I should buy that for the transmission and the gear ratio.......the straight looking body is just a bonus.. I do hope it finds a good home (and an 8 or 12 v 71)

It's been for sale here for I know 6 months. I guess there just isn't much interest in that size here. I bet $1500 cash would get it. I just don't have time for another project.

No idea how I would get it to Alaska ... Or where I would put my stuff when my wife threw me out.

Ha! I wouldn't know how to get it to Tennessee. SC doesn't sound far, until you look at what you're towing.

Hell I would drive it that Far....those Cummings tend to pop head gaskets and leak oil bad but still run pretty fair from what I am told

Looks good.

I believe I see a 2-Speed Rear button on the shifter handle.

You are right, it also has HD cooling with an extra tall thick radiator. SPID says full foam seat.

It has the big rear window and the heater guard you saw on medium duties.

You're right. I didn't notice in that picture. The one through the side window makes it look like a big one.

Re: 67-72 C/K/T-40's-90's!

It's a fancy truck as well as heavy. Doesn't have the big back window, though. I don't think I see big block hood vents, either. But I like them all!

Re: 67-72 C/K/T-40's-90's!

Several years ago I posted pictures of my heavy 60 in road tractor config, and pictures of a blueish green one that I thought was like mine....I finally stopped and talked to the owner and it turns out it is a GMC 5500 with factory V config Diesel in it.....it is not a Detroit ... Painted Ford blue. Might be a toroflow? IDK I have never seen one .. .interesting truck . I got some pictures . Just need to get them uploaded from my phone and I will share them.

Best I can do right now. The green with white top c60 near the begining of the album goes with the final 3 photos.(which are really bad).. but it is an interesting truck for sure https://www.flickr.com/gp/40438990@N07/Et055W

A little too much stuff in the way for me to tell, but I do know that they put Toro-Flows in some of those trucks.

That's a Toro-Flow, no question. They look like GMC V-6's, but both intake and exhaust manifolds are on the outboard side of he heads.
