Re: Pops 72 cheyenne dropmember build

Looks like I'm the minority here, but I like the one piece windows. I think you've updated this truck quite a bit, and the windows would look really cool with the all black truck. I also would get rid of that gas tank behind the seat and fill the hole from the filler. JMHO I does look really awesome!!!!! Great job!!

Re: Pops 72 cheyenne dropmember build

One piece glass vote here. The verticality of the wing window trim distracts your eye from the rest of the great trim on the truck.

Re: Pops 72 cheyenne dropmember build

Man that's a tough one on a regular cab - especially since your's is going to be so clean & smooth. My thoughts are that the 1-pc versions would look a little better, but then again on my truck it's a crew cab & has the little 1/4 windows on the back door so the vent windows look more correct. Really though you can't go wrong with either look! Keeping the vents keeps it more stock & easier to get parts for & there is something to say about that - especially for a DD!

Re: Pops 72 cheyenne dropmember build

Thanks guys I think I am going to go with the wing windows due to the stock trim and interior. Plus the one piece glass is a pain in the rear to install. I can always put the 1 piece glass in later if I repaint the truck. Just to let you know that would not be for a few yrs. Paint on the truck is nice but they took some short cuts on it. But it is as nice as it was when it rollled of the show room floor. So thanks again guys for all the input.

Re: Pops 72 cheyenne dropmember build

what color are your door handles going to be? I believe you wrote at one point that your going to do the handles in satin? if thats the case than match the wing trim in satin and with tinted windows it would look smooth.
