Re: 69 slammed, 22"/24" bbc shaved clean

Here are a few more progress photos. We had to put the bed on just to see how it is going to look. Wow it feels good to see this but we are not done yet. Still need to install the side windows and get the interior done.

Early on we welded threaded inserts in a few key locations to get the bed on and off. Right behind the taillights and in a front structural member. It makes it easy to get the bed on without worry of damage.

Your truck looks incredible. Killer idea adding the threaded inserts to lift the bed. Nice

I really appreciate you guys saying this.

I got a call last week from Jason Jones who is the founder of On The Ground Designs. He is a real cool guy who has got a digital magazine going on. He wanted to come to our shop and photograph a few of the projects. The problem is most of our builds are not running!! I thought lets try to put the C10 together so we put the bed on for the last time and put the hood on. He ended up spending a few hours photographing the c10. I dont have the interior in yet nor is it completed but he still wanted to take photos. He posted it on his facebook page and it got to C10 Trucks on Facebook. It really exploded on there with 124,000 hits today but a lot of guys not liking it because its low. What the heck? I took this picture yesterday with my dually because I thought it was a cool picture.

I know what you are saying. Funny my favorite comment was why would someone waste putting a badass motor in a truck like mine. There was a video of my truck uploaded with the truck rolling by and the motor sounds sick!

Just like the exterior color I have been all over the map with the interior. I definitely knew it would not be black or grey. I was going for a basketball leather color but I have settled with a Ferrari color called "Saddle". Saddle is certainly not a unique name and there are many variations but I like it. I do plan on a custom interior and it will be full leather.

Re: 69 slammed, 22"/24" bbc shaved clean

Question for you guys.......anyone familiar with suicide doors and door seals. We fabricated our own hinges but I have not yet even put much thought into how to put seals on the doors. Obviously it is done over and over so its not rocket science. I just thought one of you guys might have already found the perfect solution.
