That's a cool shot. Anyone know where that is? I see snow on the peak. Is that a dam in front or some other kind of structure? Railroad trestle, aqueduct?

It appears to be a dam. The photo was taken by a professional photographer, Dave Gelinas. If you look through Flickr he's taken many cool car related photos over the years.











He also appears to be on aaca.

Google Earth is really cool. The software lets you look around a location as if you were standing there. Unfortunately it looks like Peterson's Texaco along with several other buildings in that photo are no longer.

.24 regular price for discount. .33 for Shell. standard ect. .16 during gas war (.06 for no 2 diesel) and i made 1.25/hr to pump it. check oil and wash windows.

I remember my brother stopping at a gas station driving me home from school and we put 13 cents of gas in our dad's 55 F-100.

Look at all the passenger cars pulling boats...

Nowadays those would all be light duty pickups or SUVs.

I moved to Idaho from the SF bay area and it is MIND BLOWING how many trucks are here! OMG every other car on the road is a jacked up 4x4 truck!

LOL nope, mine will be lowered. There are a LOT more vintage cars here on the road than in the SF bay area that's for sure! I see a cool old Mustang or truck or vintage Corvette on the road all the time here!
