Ive got a couple goosenecks I'm going to play with for my truck. Is this going to bolt to the top of the frame? looks similar to the b&w 73-87 chevy gooseneck?

That’s what I copied but made it to fit my chassis, it will bolt on top of the rails under the bed floor.

what did you start with? I was thinking about buying a 73-87 b&w and trying it on mine.I was thinking it may work for me since my frame doesn't kick up as far as yours, but not sure about width.

I started with the B&W 1500 for flat bed kit, was around $150. Then I had this old 8” C Channel front bumper from my CJ10a Jeep that was a perfect starting mount.

Yes, that was one of the most time consuming things on the fabrication was cutting that 1/2” thick plate off.

The engine is still in my donor truck currently where I can still run the fluids through and keep it rolling. I have been preparing the rear of the frame and am close to working on the front half. I plan on getting a Fass pump and a set of SAC injectors but it has had great maintenance it's whole life. I will detail it when it's time.

I punted the idea of multiple headliners, it just wasn't coming together how I wanted them to. Reverted back to my original plan, one I had seen executed by another member. Added a 2nd dome light for seeing in the console.
Big question, where should I place my cargo lamp switch? Dash, B-Pillar, etc. It's no longer convenient to have under the rear dome light.

I have to finish welding on the inner roof, but will also need to wire in my electrical (Clearance lamps, dome lights, cargo lamp) before the outer skin goes on for it's last time.

Well, found out I was 1/4" long on my floor on the driver's side, spent all weekend fixing that and getting back to the inner roof where I thought I was at ahead of the weekend.
