Re: my '64 c-10 swb project with steel floor from a '70

thanks alan for the pics they did help alot!!

i trimmed the lip down some more and its to the point that if i trim anymore without test fitting the glass i might take to much off!! i think i got to really really close if not dead on! i forgot to take some pics because when i did remember to it was getting dark fast!

but anyways i got a few pics to show that i am slowly working on it, the wife wanted to do taxes and that took up a 1/2 of "truck time" on friday, lol!! but thats done, i have been working on my gas pedal and brake pedal had to cut four notches in the brake pedal for the bolts and trim the top and bottom off some so you dont see the pedal behind the lokar pedal! heres some pics, some pics are not so good cause it was getting dark and i forgot to take pics earlier when i did it! i didnt work on the tilt hood brackets to much, just got some more grinding on them to do before welding then together! pics of those to come later!! on the gas pedal i'm going to order the spacer for it to get more travel in the pedal i think its 1/4"-1/2" spacer

anyways heres the pics

I used to live in Poteau back in the late 90's. I built the bowling alley there, I helped anyway.. I even worked at Wortz right before I moved back to Texas.

Good job on the truck..

Nice work on the dash. You are right, if I didn't know and could not look at it from the back I would think had not been touched.

Re: my '64 c-10 swb project with steel floor from a '70

thanks guys for the comments, its been awhile since i have updated my thread, i have had trouble logging in a couple times! but anyways i have let live get in the way, last weekend i was in cali. for 4 days, i got to see my brother who i havent seen in 11 yrs. and my sister i havent seen in 7 yrs.! my wife found out that my brother was going to be at my sisters for the weekend and that my uncle was going out to cali and told me to go, so i did! it was really nice to see them and a good visit! i'm not going to meet my march 18th. deadline but getting to see my family was worth it, i did buy some new parts that came in and i'll be able to pull the motor and add all the new parts! i've been working on the big back window and i'm filling in the top seam and it has taken some time to do that so no pics of that yet! i got the firewall pad and will be putting it in this weekend or next weekend! the weather hasnt been that good either to do alot of the stuff i have been needing to do!

anyways heres some pics of the new parts i did get, i also got my radiator in the other day but dont have pics on my computer but will tomorrow! i also got the 6 lug truck rallys i have been looking for form a buddy at work! also got some hockey tape to wrap the wiring harness in, and my mini starter

thanks jeff, the roller rockers are stainless steel, dont know the name and i ordered them for skipwhite off ebay, the radiator i ordered from kmjperformance also off ebay its 19 x 27.5 single pass! its just big enough to fit between the inner fenders, i'm going to make a front crossmember to support it! and thank you, i really was glad to see my brother and sister, the last time i seen my brother was at his wedding before he moved back to colorado springs, colorado for a couple yrs. then he moved back to california!

while it looks like its going to rain then snow this weekend here, so i guess i wont get much done, my dad has been helpping me when he can on my truck! but last thursday he cut his thumb with a box blade and had to have 15 small stitches! so i wont get the big window put in for a lil while! small set backs but still working at it lil by lil!!
