Yep, make um....

Dad Gum it..
They make the CL205, which is a gray TT2 basically. It is a custom made wheel, so it can be made with the backspacing you need.

I am not a Budnik dealer, but that is from their surfaced series, which typically run about 1K more because of the machine time to mill it. I would say around $3800 for a set of 20's.

Nice project also, looks like it is coming together well.

Re: Project Grande Slam: Coley's Hot Rod Shop

Yikes.. So the Budniks are out.

Summit is $419 for the 20x8, and $469 for the 20x9.5 Pro Perf - Can you do better on the ARs (CL205?)

Thanks for the compliments! I'm about to get something, .. otherwise my truck will be sitting on jack stands for weeks and I know it.

Those are really sharp... but, when I see that little "B" on the center cap, it means you have to own a "BANK". I would guess around $3K for a set of 20's with the spinner (which I like, too)?

Re: Project Grande Slam: Coley's Hot Rod Shop

In a lot of ways I feel like I owe you guys an apology for all the back and forth on my wheels. I just feel like after all the money is spent, the truck is shining, buckets, console, and all the work that first time it's lowered off the jack stands I don't want to have any regrets.

I love the Coys wheels, I have just heard issues about backorders, them shipping the wrong backspacing, Customer Service complaints, having to grind the rotors off to get the caps to fit, cracks around the spokes, etc. But the price is right.

The AR TT2's are killer wheels and one of my all time favorites .. but they are a little played out IMO. Maybe that's why the price was dropping? .. but again I still really like them and I could always do a one off set, painted in a Magnesium look like the old style wheels. $469 for the 20x10s ..

I can't seem t opull myself away from the Centerline Bolevards. That wheel has everything I like in the wheels.. I could do a 20x8 and 20x9.5 and position the wheel where I want it in the wheel well. I'm going to be running 45 series tires too so maybe if I pull the wheel in a little it will give me the sidewall look I'm after (a little roll to the sw) $519 wheel, .. not much more than the ARs.

I could do some Cast center Billet Specialties too .. but I think I might be a bit upset if the truck had to sit outside.

To me it's like a tuxedo with tennis shoes on.. if the wheels don't fit the truck and the look overall then I'm going to be kicking myself and it will ruin the whole project.

Right now, it's between:

Polished Coys C5s
Centerline Sundance Bolevards
AR TT2's painted magnesium / gray in the center and flat brushed caps.

The Centerlines are probably going to be it.

Again, if I'm being a panzee about it I don't mean to be. I just want t oget the truck dropped, at ride height, measure then pull the trigger. I have to tell you if the Centerlines are available that's going to be difficult for me to turn away from. They'll hide my brakes somewhat but I think they'd be killer on the truck. You don't see them very often either.

I like these over the boulevards, which I think fits your build best. These have the same look, but with big windows to show off your brakes- and NO ONE else has them... Those BS are sick, too.

Parked outside Nooooooo! Make sure you buy wheel locks and a good car alarm.
Hate to see your hard work doing 100 mph in the neighborhood on some COPS show!!

Re: Project Grande Slam: Coley's Hot Rod Shop

I don't think anyone on the boards expects an apology for trying to get a cool set of wheels for your truck. $3,000 is more than I paid for my 1967 Camaro RS SS back in 1967. It is a BIG decision. Choose wisely, Grasshopper.

Every truck guy on the forums knows how important it is to choose the "right" wheels. They say a lot about the personality of the owner. Take me for example. I like steelies, dog dish caps and wide whites. But, I'm 62 years old. You will know when you see the right wheel.

Brett makes a good point about parking it outside. Maybe we could build you a nice detached garage behind your house after we finish your deck.

I just dont want to sound spineless, and Im not broke.. I just dont want to regret it or buy anything really till we get it dropped.

I can get the Rushforths at Newstalgia and not have to pay shipping. Plus Howards discount.

Ditto on the spinners, might be an old guy thing!!

I loved the knock offs on my mid year corvette and hated the fake looking hub caps that were also correct for the car. Spinners are kinda funny, they are cool if they look like they could be real knock offs! If not then they look kinda cheesey (KO whanna bee's). Part of it might be knowing what you are looking at as well.

Re: Project Grande Slam: Coley's Hot Rod Shop

The Rushforths are nice wheels, definitely.... but pricey as well. About $775 a wheel for 20's. Reall sweet looking wheel though, and different.

It is tough choosing wheels, but I think you are going about ti right, but doing all your research and seeing what is out there.

First I've seen them too. Would look great on my Buick GS with painted black windows. Rushforth is great to deal with too. I've got a set of Super Spokes on my 64 Skylark.
