Thanks man I'm doing all the body and paint myself of this project (have not painted in a while) Well my buddy is a great painter and is going to help me out I just got to find that color that makes me go nuts. This is going to be my "I done every single thing in my garage" project its just so hard to find people that care as much as I do to work on my rides. You are so lucky you found a painter that does good work and getting stuff done in a timely fashion. I have horror stories when it comes to body and paint guys. I know people whos rides set for a year and not one thing was done looked basically the same as when they dropped it off. Maybe one panel was done.lol So I do everything myself.

My progress is just too darn slow to start a thread (wife and two kids need time also) but the website will be updated as soon as I do stuff. I just got a lot of suspension stuff lately so I will update the Mustang II install (I brought my Mustang II in pieces and saved a nice piece of change that way). Plus I have really cool ideas for my cowl and drip rail so stay tuned. If my skills are up to it that is.lol

I'm loving your thread, the truck is just more awesome with every update. It's gonna be sad when you are done I'm not gonna have more update to look farward to.

Cali, I'm still moving so the truck is just sitting. The sad thing is I just moved the Nova into the garage next to it and it's too tight to work in. Now I am having trouble deciding which one to kick out into the side yard. That Nova is so close to a driving car I almost want to put the truck back on the back burner again. What to do????? I have another couple weeks before we are set up in the house enough that I can do anything anyways.

Re: 58 GMC Project

Your Nova is to nice of a car to let sit outside. I think you should put that extra large size back yard to good use and build a BIG shop in the back yard!!!

Yes, but it really was a pain. It took me half the day since I had to loosen the fenders and pull them apart.

hey at least you took the time to seperate the fenders. You could have always attempted to install it with the front sheetmetal all together!

Re: 58 GMC Project

Looks better every time you update!

I do want to replace the shed in the backyard with a 2 car work shop but that is a ways off right now. I think I am going to stay on the truck for now. At least get it bolted together and running.

Thanks 58 GMC! And again congratulation on your TOTM award. As for the future TOTM/year award, will...it would be some tough competition with super sweet looking trucks like your competing.
