Re: my 68 shortbed build
Hey just gotta say awesome truck saw it today at good guys would have been cool to meet you but you weren't by the truck when I saw it. I think it definitely looks alot better now than when I saw it two years ago at the show love the coy wheels and bench seat cleaned up the look of the truck. Also cool to see more of us younger guys building these trucks keep it up

Wow nice work! This may have been mentioned already but I didn't read every post. What wheels are those at the beginning of the build?

Re: my 68 shortbed build
thanx for all the kind words!!
Hurst28- are you talking about the black 15'' wheels or the chrome 20'' wheels?? the back ones were just 15x8 truck rallys and the 20's were ultra 295 flairs (20x9)

Re: my 68 shortbed build
thanx man, i mounted the fuse box under the dash, then ran the wires through the side vent in the kick pannel and through the top of the fender. for the starter wires i ran them under the dash and drilled a hole in the passenger floor where it meets the fire wall and ran thoes few wires strait to the starter.

Re: my 68 shortbed build
thats exactly what ive been playing on doing.. when you cut the hole for the wires on both ends did you put a rubber groumet or anything...also does your wires run on the underside of the fenders if so how are you keeping it strapped up ..

Re: my 68 shortbed build
Today I picked up my driveline I had cut to size, I needed a new one with a slip shaft since I kept braking carrier bearing mounts after bagging the truck
