When I spoke to Ballistic on Fri and they told me the parts still hadn't shipped, I asked them if they'd ship em out 2nd day air for me since they were so late and he said okay.

Well he did what he said, they arrived today.

Turns out the TR ends on my cross over are larger, might be able to get the one end machined out hopefully.

Also turns out that the factory TR has the correct ends, so if I can get enough adjustment out of it, I can use it and I get my high steer too.

I'm assuming that the new drag link connects to the box and the old one is connecting the knuckles. Other than the obvious, the draglink is no longer hanging out front and subject to damage.. Is the way you are doing your steering make the truck drive better?

Correct, The newer looking rod/bar (drag link) goes from a 2wd steering box and crosses over to the passenger side knuckle which now has a steering arm.

The cross over set up is what will make it drive better, the high steer is a side benefit.

No.

Cross over is only really appicable when you get into bigger tires (36+) or around 6"s or more of lift.
(mainly the lift issue)

Are you running a D60?

No, D60 here. i'm 5'8 and my lady is 5'2 on a good day. so My truck won't ever get bigger than 33 and I only do light logging road wheeling. So I will be sticking with the dana 44. I was just curious if it would help my truck handle a little better.

Axle is done and it's at least a roller again.

It's currently having to share the space, those 37's don't seem to look so big anymore...

The interesting part is, how can one blazer with 37's & 2.5" springs, sit just as high as one with 42's & 6"s of lift?

Is 2.5" the exact lift on the front of the red one? You have a shackle lift on the rear which should be 4" or more and it looks to be sitting level. Just curious.

BTW. They look good in there together. I'm glad the ballistic arm showed up finally. The H2 rims look good to. I always like the way they look on the older trucks.
