Well, as I promised... here's a full shot of the Billet Specialties Vintecs, complete with caps, on my '69. Just not quite how I expected to debut them....
For the complete story, check here...

Re: Project: Blank Slate
I have to say... I drove this truck to the same show last year, stock height w/ ralley wheels, and I got a few "Nice looking truck comments." Bring this truck a year later with the drop and new wheels/tires, and it was a total night and day difference. Made me feel proud...
Thanks to everyone that has had a hand in on the transformation of Blank Slate! I have an additional upgrade for the truck, thanks to another board member, but that will have to wait..... and no curses this time!

Re: Project: Blank Slate
Nate, your truck still looks better than 99.99999% of the trucks out there...even if it does have coolant leaking from it!
How was the ride quality this year compared to last year?

Re: Project: Blank Slate
Thanks!
Thanks Dale! Your truck is coming along as one of my favorites as well. Thank you my friend, as you know, it's been a labor of love. IMO.. your truck is perfect, but... 20's are addictive. Quote:

As far as the ride quality, IMO, there hasn't been much of a change, even though it looks totally different. I feel as though the suspension rides about the same and offers less body roll (sway bar), while keeping the stock geometry while being lowered. Even with the change to a shorter sidewall on the 20's the ride quality is still nice and crisp. Plans in your future?
