Oh yea......I am definitely hooked. Not all bad......

Give Tom a call aka tll74 and he should have what you need to go back to stock. The Lokar set up is in both this 65 and the 50 burb and works well, looks good but pricey

Sorry not the shifter, I meant the kickdown cable.

These 60-66 dudes are sneaky. They just throw these super-groovy trucks out there and wait. Slowly they gather more members to their sneaky little cult. They've prit near converted me!

When I see your new shifter nob I see the end of a pimps cain....ha ha

No disrspect meant I like how it looks especailly with next to the cow hide seat. Your interior could be described as shabby sheek... I watch to much HGTV.

It's there to rest my pimp hand on.
Don't make me slap you

I saw you shaved the front end from your Burb. Get that thing on the road, we could pimp 16 between us!

From what Keeth was saying I don't think I'll need anything from the stock configuration. I guess I'll let you know when I get it haha

How's the grill coming along. I have been looking for one, there's one on ebay and it looks like the one that you have.

Re: Crossing over, the 65 rebuild.

Hotroded....hahaha nothing to report but an oil change and several hundred miles of driving. Hit the swap meets last weekend and getting itchy to pull the engine and repaint it and dress it in old school stuff.

FrankyV8......thanks, I don't watch TV or like to work on house projects in the dark up here in the NW so working on the truck after work and most weekends keeps my mind happy.

66Farmer.......that image I posted of the blue one is the one on ebay that I used as a reference. He wants too much I think. Mine is a couple weeks away from getting completed. Polishers are like painters, they tend not to rush through the work load.

Re: Crossing over, the 65 rebuild.

Picked up the grille from the Chrome shop last night. Came in early to work and painted the CHEVROLET background and the back of the grille to prevent rusting. Assembled it and going to bead blast all of the headlight bucket stuff at lunch.
Should look pretty sweet with the blacked out core support behind it!
I am working on some Orange LED light strips for a cool back lit idea too.

Re: Crossing over, the 65 rebuild.

I'm starting to get the feeling that you are coming up with new projects so that you can keep working on it and keep you from giving it back to your wife...

Ok I will keep quiet.
The grille looks good.

You don't have one already?!

I'm still trying to find a clean 63 grille so I can swap them around when I want to change things up a bit.

Scored some white powder coated wheels and having Cory at Hurst Racing tires make up some white walls. Trying to tone down the orange a little more.
