I'm not sure about the tires but the wheels are Rev 100's from American Racing. 20x8 and 20x9.5 I think is what Scott said. He's a member on the forum (ScottW).

Re: How about some pics of '73-'87 Short Beds

Well there she is, im kind of embarrased at how dirty it is but I am restoring it so its ok. Its been a work truck for 20 some years so it can be right. Name: 100_1979.jpg
Views: 3933
Size: 52.3 KB I am actually kind of confused on the year. The vin plate is so rusty I cant read it properly. It has 80-81 headlight on top over marker lights, an 84ish grille for the 4 headlight trucks. ( I want to make the markers in the grille fog lights) and the side markers on the fenders suggest around an 81-84.

I think what makes that truk look so good are the vent window deletes, makes it real slick to match the full shave.

Re: How about some pics of '73-'87 Short Beds

toby, that reminds me of my dads 79' short cab, short bed in white and lowered with 350/350 straight pipes. When I was little about 6 ro7 I could hear him about a mile away on his way home from work.

Re: How about some pics of '73-'87 Short Beds

I have a question, my 1980 started life as a long bed, but the frame was cut to fit a steel bed, but it wasn't cut short enough to be a short bed. where do I put it haha. Its a medium bed

Size: 73.9 KBIll have a far away one but Ill have more once my son goes down for nap. And its not pretty to most people, its a work truck, used to be a diesel automatic but it now has or i was told it was a 327( i highly doubt its a 327) and a granny 4 spd. Here is my goal for the truck though. I want 4wd at least and the color on this truck was actually the original color of mine.

Re: How about some pics of '73-'87 Short Beds

That's a great truck. Different from what most of us have (lowered 2WD fleetsides). It's the same color combo as that slammed '80 that was posted somewhere in this thread. I'd love to see your truck and his side by side.

Re: How about some pics of '73-'87 Short Beds

1965 Chuvy,
I don't think it's an '80...
'80 was the last year of the round fenders, rounded dash, formed front frame horns(bumper bolt holes were built into the frame), and the hood covered the cowl and wipers.

Oh and it looks like it has van mirrors...

Boss 338's. 20x8.5 front and 20x10 rear. 245/40's on the front and 295/40's on the back. Had to run a 1 inch spacer on the back since these are offset a little too far in and a little grinding on the front rotor to get the wheel to go all the way on but other than that they fit well.

Its lime green, don't know what the color code is. Doesn't have the label in the glove box.
