Re: How about some pics of '73-'87 Short Beds
I'm not sure about the tires but the wheels are Rev 100's from American Racing. 20x8 and 20x9.5 I think is what Scott said. He's a member on the forum (ScottW).

Re: How about some pics of '73-'87 Short Beds
toby, that reminds me of my dads 79' short cab, short bed in white and lowered with 350/350 straight pipes. When I was little about 6 ro7 I could hear him about a mile away on his way home from work.

Re: How about some pics of '73-'87 Short Beds
I have a question, my 1980 started life as a long bed, but the frame was cut to fit a steel bed, but it wasn't cut short enough to be a short bed. where do I put it haha. Its a medium bed

Re: How about some pics of '73-'87 Short Beds
That's a great truck. Different from what most of us have (lowered 2WD fleetsides). It's the same color combo as that slammed '80 that was posted somewhere in this thread. I'd love to see your truck and his side by side.

Re: How about some pics of '73-'87 Short Beds
1965 Chuvy,
I don't think it's an '80... '80 was the last year of the round fenders, rounded dash, formed front frame horns(bumper bolt holes were built into the frame), and the hood covered the cowl and wipers. Oh and it looks like it has van mirrors... Posted via Mobile Device

Re: How about some pics of '73-'87 Short Beds
Boss 338's. 20x8.5 front and 20x10 rear. 245/40's on the front and 295/40's on the back. Had to run a 1 inch spacer on the back since these are offset a little too far in and a little grinding on the front rotor to get the wheel to go all the way on but other than that they fit well.
