Wouldn't start after short run. Read about vapor lock in which an old gas cap doesn't vent. Bought new gas cap and so far, NO PROBLEMS!!! I love that feeling.

Re: What did you do to your truck today!

I've been driving mine. Need to post pics, I guess. Last year this time, it was completing the frame upgrades for the "baggage". Next is the engine/trans upgrade (420hp 383 & t56 or LQ9). TBD.

I ordered new headlight housings with integrated turn signals so I can change my front bumper to an early model.

When Dennin built mine, we let it high idle for about 30 mins then we took it out and drove normal for about 25 miles then he hammered it.awsome.

Re: What did you do to your truck today!

I picked up 5 6-lug steelies (need that exta one to match for the stepside bedside mount!) sandblasted and ready for paint for $75. Going to paint them tonight if the weather holds out and get rubber mounted on them this weekend.

Re: What did you do to your truck today!

Installed a radiator cover from Brothers (complete with scratch) to go along with the core support panels I got last year.

Looks good even with scratch, that I wouldn't have known if you hadn't mentioned it, haha. Looks like a nice piece though.

Made a headliner for my truck out of "printed copy's" of my autographed magazines. The cover of each mag is autographed by the person on the cover.

Went out and put some touches on the old girl. I'm going to try and start and run it tomorrow and possibly drive it around the block.

Re: What did you do to your truck today!

Rebuilt the edelbrock. It got dirty. I love how easy they are. In less than two hours I had it off the truck, cleaned out, rebuilt, and a running truck again. It was mostly just trapped dirt in the top where the screens area. Runs awesome again.
