Flush mont windshield wil be a nice addition as long as it isn't 20hrs worth of body work to do it to an almost done cab.

Gas tank strap looks great! I built something very similar for my battery. Are you worried about sideways movement with it since I do not see any little stops on the strap to prevent it or is the fit so good that it is not of any concern?

Lookin good! $15/ft doesn't sound out of line. Should be around $300 total, I'd think.

I have been saying that for years...finally got myself in gear !
about the flush fit , that would be nice it will make a lot less windnoise too , i would do them all around though (one piece side windows too), i seen a video a while back of a guy that made a rearwindow that rolled down electricly , dont know wat truck he used or wat window he used but it looked verry trick he prolly welded in the complete window surround with the channels motormounting and guiderails , mightve used a blazer suburb rearwindow
would be sweet !

Re: 67 cheby's Dropmember build thread (CLOUD 9)

Cheb, your build is truly impressive and beautiful. One thing I noticed is that your not running your exhaust all the way out the back or to the side. You have a turn down under the bed. I think this is going to be a big mistake, I think it will get dust, exhaust, dirt and everything else all over that beautiful freshly painted chassis, and under your truck. And it will raise dust and dirt everywhere you go. Don't get me wrong, your truck is going to be awesome, just a suggestion that maybe you didn't think of? Cant wait too see it finished.

Agree with Scott here. Don't stop short on this part, you gotta find a way to exit and have it look cool. I think this a detail often overlooked and in many ways is as important to the look as the wheels you choose. Think man, think!

Exhaust looks nice mike! I didn't think there was enough room to do a tandem dual system but it looks like it fit nice. You're almost there. I am hungry for sausage for some reason.... blue n gold

Mike, are we talking like the shiney gold 60's era sparkly restraunt kinda style interior or a more low-key flat color? I agree with the color choice, it wll absolutely stand out against the blue exterior and I can't wait to see a swatch of the color you have in mind!!!

Hey Losh, are you gonna give us a tease of your interior or make us wait it out until it is all finished?
