Love the red and white combo.

Anyone know what it would cost to ship it 1455 miles to Texas?
I'd guess around $1.00/mile.

Re: Post Your Craigslist Finds

Listed my truck on Ebay yesterday ($31,500) if you know anyone looking for a short bed with air.
Since I bought the 72 from Chevyland I now have 3 pickups and something has to go.

Glad I could help. I couldn't justify it right now for myself.

72 K20 Custom Deluxe $12495 (or maybe just round UP to $12500 and call it a day...)
Apparently there is no driver's side to this truck. I have to admit, ads like this turn me off on a truck almost instantly. Nothing like having to call and beg for a pic of that pesky "other" side of the truck.

Boy howdy I like this green K20, it seems like a fair price to me. Am I wrong for such a clean truck? More pics would be nice though....

Deadheadnm old gmc 4x4 ?

Pete / DeadHeadNM,
Is this your old truck?
Still looks sharp. For me, the one that got away

Looks like it has followed you to Wisconsin!

https://www.ebay.com/itm/1972-Chevro...16.m2518.l4276

The current owner believes it may be a 36k mile truck.

72 GMC K1500. Montana survivor. Mostly original paint. Originally 350 (now has 79 400) TH350, NP205 Transfer case. 99.5% no rust (one blister on RR cab corner as pictured) Great western body and original bed wood. Recent fluids changed, tuned, aligned. Excellent tires (33x10.50-15 BFG's)

Upon close inspection, this truck COULD be a 36,000 mile vehicle. All original front end parts (tight) with the exception of the drag link (which I replaced). I cannot support the mileage claim, so I will call the truck as 135,000.

Runs and drives excellent!

All gauges work with 1 exceptions (ammeter)

Original warranty books /POP , owners manual, misc receipts

Original chrome

This is a survivor type truck. It has dings, bangs, road rash (from gravel roads). IT IS NOT PERFECT!. What is is....................solid, no rust, no excuses. What you see is what you get! Drive and enjoy. Portions on the truck were undercoated. After carefully inspecting, I do not believe it is covering or hiding anything. All the metal underneath has nice crisp edges, no scale, just honest patina.

If you cannot afford this truck, do not bid! If you have a feedback of less than 10, please contact me before bidding. If you have questions, please call! I certainly suggest an inspection of the truck, but have no issue selling sight unseen. I will represent the vehicle to the best of my knowledge to eliminate any surprises for either of us.

I have the truck listed locally and reserve the right to end the auction early. If you would like to end the action and purchase the truck, I will add a buy it now.

Re: Post Your Craigslist Finds

Purdy sure that's Pete's old GMC. All those pics and not ONE of the gorgeous highlander plaid interior. Truck still looks great

I kinda get a kick out of he seller's statement: "If you cant' afford this truck, do not bid!!" (and the first (and current) bid was $0.99). Ha. But, I know what he means and have felt that pain, drives me nuts when folks win the bid then suddenly realize they can't afford it...

Hey Jocko, What is the G82 special promotional. I looked in the book, but it doesn't show G82.

You’re off by one digit, it’s actually YG8 - that’s the Highlander pkg C RPO - gives you the plaid cover plus some grouped options. C is the highest of all and includes pkg B and A - things like a/c, tilt, etc.

Here is a link to a large thread dedicated to Highlanders. Post # 38 is very detailed in breaking the various Highlander elements down.
