What's the Black Knob outboard left of the Dash for?
I had to replace the Headlight Switch on my '68 C/10 Stepside last year. The rheostat controlling Instrument Lights had gaps in its dimming range. I noticed the ersatz switch was a lot balkier when pulling it On/Off. Seems to catch midway.

What's the Black Knob outboard left of the Dash for?

Fog lights I have yet to rebuild them . The ones that came on the truck when I bought it are from a Mack .

Cool.
I had a chrome shop cut Fog Light Holes out of a 67-68 front bumper so I could mount rectangular fog lights inside the bumper, like parking lights on 71-72s. It's on my '67 K/10 Suburban now. The later model bumper didn't fit my '68. Pix are on my old computer.
