71 C20 base 58k mi survivor $11.5K
Very original, nice condition - note it still retains the 71-only grille perimeter black ring. Personally, I love when these old C20s have the snow tires on the back, looks just like they always did back in snow country when they were new.

Before I tried lying about the mileage I would have found a slightly worn original seat cover....2 worn out seat covers with only 68k??? 268k is more likely.

71 K10 Cheyenne Super - Nice! $28.5K
Appears to be restored very correctly - really like that they did the bad as it would have rolled off the line. Would be nice if SPID pic included

I also think it’s possibly turned over but there’s no need to proclaim judgement about the seller and conclude he is a lier based on a few photos. Innocent until proven guilty seems to be going out of style these days.

EDIT: The enthusiasm for honesty is appreciated fwiw...

I agree.

I even tried to delete my post, because it was unnecessary, but since it had a response, I couldn't.

I do suppose my new toy fits in here. 1971 C/20, 350 4 speed, needs some love, but picked it up for 1,200.

Re: Post Your Craigslist Finds

Nice finds guys. I’d love to have BOTH of those 68’s. A complete K10 in orange for 2800!? A Black and red 3/4 ton with posi and a 327 4 speed for 2600!? Why are these finds always 1500 miles away from me?

I think it's worth more than seller is asking personally (for the red (or orange) 68 K10 I mean) - but the price reflects the level of disassembly, and the risk associated with not buying a complete, running truck. Bound to be something it will need that doesn't come with the truck. Having said that, if one doesn't mind a little assembly, and some inevitable parts hunting, I think $2800 for a red 68 K10 is pretty fair - and it looks like most of the parts are there, they will just be delivered in the bed probably...
