At the end of the clip at the bottom there are more clips. I one to the left is a guy on a cb 1300 doing a real burn out. You need to see if you can pull it off on your bike.

I spot welded a little at a time so it won't warp the sheet metal.

I keeped closing in the gaps, let it cool, and do it again. This took me over 3 hours.

Then I ground down the welds to shape the flare. I went back a few times to spot weld in the missed spots, and ground again.

Looks great!!

I was going to just remove it to make all the lines flow.

That's what I did to mine. I like it, it cleans up the lines very nicely.

Holly $h*t how did you get my address? Just from my description? Go to street view, and turn on Mission. You will see me and my dog at the side gate. That cracked me up. In the view you shown is before I bought the house.
