I would do that on a dirt bike, not on my 800 lb cruiser.

Then I ground down the welds to shape the flare. I went back a few times to spot weld in the missed spots, and ground again.

I have been thinking about shaving the hole drip rail.

That's what I did to mine. I like it, it cleans up the lines very nicely.

I guess if you pay for it it's live and the detail is better. Some places show up better then others.
