Maybe I could grind that stuff up and slip the old lady some in her food.So it 's kinda like a mix of AK-47 and Northern lights? I'm surprised I've never heard of it. Must be some of that new stuff.

Zoloft has been around for a lone time, like Prozac. I've been on it for years. Or I would have killed my wife.. Now she needs to take some. You gave me an idea.

Re: Daverods 52

1300 for a 700r4 seems kinda high to me. I don't know a whole ton about them though. I had one I traded for a $100 worth of stuff. You can snag one for a couple hundred and then have it rebuilt, that would be cheaper maybe. Or just get one and run it and take your chances. Plus if you get one that is "rebuilt'' make sure you have a warranty with it.

I have also heard from one guy he doesn't like the 700r4 nearly as much as a th350. again, I don't know as much on either cause I have mostly 5 speeds. but the 700r4 does have the lowest first gear out of all the 2x4 trans I do believe.

Ya its 50. Feel better now than I did when I was 40. Old dwags rule. Can do most things better than I ever did. Just takes longer to heal.

1300 was for a new one. I just like the idea of better gas mileage. Not sure of what year I could use if I got a used one from the junk yard.

Re: Daverods 52

I did my own, and never rebuilt one before in my life...

Started with a "K" case 700r4 (supposedly stronger cases, and I had one of each anyway), bought a "Monster in a box" kit (came with a whole crapload of upgrades), then found a DVD tutorial on how to rebuild one...

Wasn't all that hard... monkey see, monkey do! Just had to make a jig to pull a couple sections apart (or you can buy/rent the tool) and had it done within a weekend!

Haven't run it yet, but I don't think I'll have an issue.

Cheers!
Ted.

That would be fun. I don't know if I want to spend the time. Seems like time is in short supply right now.

Gotta do it once... just once. Something about knowing that you did it all yourself that just makes you smile inside...!
