Looking very good, I like the cab trim polished up like that. Are you going to put the trim back on the tailgate? Sport mirrors coming?

Looks pretty tough man.

Are you going to change the interior color. I was thinking it had a brown or tan interior. Seen a couple of pics posted on a FB page the other day too.

I've bought new mirrors, the big factory stainless ones. Not sure if I'm going to install them yet. lol. I like the look without the mirrors but then again I like the factory look. I bought a tailgate band the other day but it has a few dings in it so I'll probably not use it. I'll get one and polish it up eventually....lol.

Thanks! Yeah I plan on doing the interior in the next couple of months. I've got to get a quote next week or so from someone local. I plan on doing black and gray interior. There is a person on the forum that does really good interior. Black vinyl on the dash and panels with a silver stitching. Then a black and gray vinyl or cloth on the bench seat and a black carpet.

Checking in here to say nice ride, brother! I'm not too terribly far away from you. I'm right across the state line in Louisiana.

Something I sketched up today. I want to keep my receiver hitch but I want to hide it also. This is what I came up with.

Thanks, Clay. Glad to be here.

On the hidden hitch note, here is a great write up on something similar by SCOTI. I hope it at least gives you some ideas, this is the way I plan to do mine, if I ever need it to tow.

Going to get a few quotes on the interior in the next couple of days. Hoping to start that in the next month or so.

Why the big mirrors? Is this going to be a DD? Paint came out fantastic, BTW. Love the two tone you came up with.

I've just always loved the factory trim that came on these trucks. That's the main reason I put the side molding, factory grille, vent windows and factory style bumpers back on. The truck came with the small sport mirrors but I like the look of the big mirrors instead although I do like the look of the truck without mirrors. I plan on driving this truck a couple times a month when the weather is perfect and the weather doesn't show any chance of rain over the whole state of Texas, Thanks for the compliments on the paint.

10 4. I like the factory trim too, and although I prefer the look of the little sport mirrors, they're about useless on the road.

Haha, you should see me backing my truck into the garage without side mirrors or a rear view. I'm always worried that I'll hit my Chevelle or my toolboxes! lol

Re: Project Platinum C10

I used a kit from LMC for the seat. Are you staying with the bench, stock? I kinda wish I had used a vinyl instead of the factory style for the Silverado. My wife loves the material, but me, not so much.
