Re: No Limit's "K-10"
When I came to your shop and saw the truck last Saturday you guy's were still spreading spot putty, glaze and sanding. You are serious about taking it to Del Mar on the 30th. Fast, Fast, Fast!

Re: No Limit's "K-10"
this truck is awesome! Quick question: where did you move the engine in reference to the stock location and by how much?

Re: No Limit's "K-10"
Rob you and the No Limit crew have just raised the bar to a lofty height. If this thing performs as good as it looks your 2012 Goodguys title is in the bag.

Re: No Limit's "K-10"
I met you guys at Del Mar last Fall and I loved your truck. My buddy owns " Best of Show " and has all those crazy old Camaros that we race in Del Mar. Hopefully I will see you guys the end of this month. I will introduce myself. Can't wait to see this new truck.
I got a pic of your truck last fall. Best of Show Camaro under carriage BOS engine compartment. |

Re: No Limit's "K-10"
Thanks to everyone for the positive feedback. This project is a bit out there. We're across the 500 hr mark now, almost to 600. Yes, it's sunday, just stopped to eat lunch, then back to work. Wiring, plumbing and some interior for me today. Sullivam isfinishing off the motor build, and Marcel is working on the hood and grill, and color sanding. Four days to go.

Re: No Limit's "K-10"
We are building an LS chevy here in the shop, not our normal work area. An Iron 6.0 LQ4, bored .010", 10.5 to 1, H beam rods, mildly ported heads, Comp valve train, and a Pro Products intake and 101mm throttle body. We are told by 'those in the know' that this combo makes a solid 550 hp, and 500+ ft/lbs. This is our first LS build in the shop, and it is a learning experience for sure.

Re: No Limit's "K-10"
We heard to many things about the cranks moving around in th aluminum block. Then, when I asked the pros about a 150 shot of nitrous, they all said to go with the iron block. 65 lb heavier. Guess I'll have to switch to light beer.
