Thanks for the comments...I am very happy with the way it is turning out.

The paint on the block is POR 15 Chevrolet Orange and the black is powdercoat.

That is was tough to apply especially to a motor due to it being more 'visible' vs. a frame for instance. Did you 'cut' the forumla any so it applied easier, or was it fresh out of the can?

The POR-15 engine enamel worked well on the rough cast engine block/cylinder head areas,... but looks like crap on the sheetmetal.
(my opinion)
It's too thin, to brush on successfully,... or needs to be sprayed in light coats.

Just the block was painted with that stuff.

Looks like it came out pretty good to me. I have also seen chassis and rear end housings with it and it looked good.
