Thank you for the compliment Jeff. It took a few years to do but the end result was worth it.

Re: How about some pics of 69-72 Blazers and Jimmys.
I just checked your photo bucket album on the Burb. That is one nice ride.
Love the interior. Perfect road tripping vehicle. I want to be able to tow travel trailer With my Blazer as well. Not certain how it will do with the shorter wheel base. Herb. Posted via Mobile Device

Re: How about some pics of 69-72 Blazers and Jimmys.
Thanks for the kind words...I've had a bunch of Chevy's but the last two I've had have been GMC's ...they are fast becoming my favorites just because of the low production numbers and I think the front ends do stand out also! I'd like to build it bigger but it fits in the garage by 1 inch! Sooooo....

Re: How about some pics of 69-72 Blazers and Jimmys.
My dad had a red '69 4wd followed by a '72 2wd (wish I had that one now!) The very first vehicle I ever drove was his white '72. I have always had a soft spot in my heart for it, so I started looking for my own 1st gen blazer. Mine is rough but it wasn't modded or beat to death. Just worn out.
Here's the "before" shot. Unfortunately there is no "after" shot since I'm just getting started on the project. This is the truck that I am going to model my build after. A clean, no nonsense look. Green is a tough color to get just right, but I love this color. Joanne |
