Re: How to: Ruin a perfectly good C10
Wow, I've missed this build from the get go. Looks like I have a lot of reading to do to get caught up. I just finished reading through the 6th page and I know I need to check in so I don't forget to finish reading. I've lost track of so many builds by not check posting to subscribe. I have to refrain myself from jumping to the end to see the finished product. It all Looks great so far. I can't wait to finish reading through.

Re: How to: Ruin a perfectly good C10
Tested out my wheel finish on one of the fronts tonight. I think it turned out pretty decent. The paint is glossier and darker than I wanted, but I think it will work. Just gotta do the other three now...

Re: How to: Ruin a perfectly good C10
The sheen looks good to me. Will probably be less porous too. It is a bit darker than I thought it might but still looks good.

Thanks everyone! Excited to get them done and on the truck.

Re: How to: Ruin a perfectly good C10
I just finished up to this point on the build, and I love it. The weathered Patina look is awesome. And the wheels look great too. I can't wait to see them mounted! Keep up the great work!

Re: How to: Ruin a perfectly good C10
Wheel looks great. Too bad you have to do all that work. I'm thinking of changing my wheels to 20s also. These might be in the running.

Re: How to: Ruin a perfectly good C10
Thanks again everyone. The more I look at them, the more I like them. Yeah, I will have a bunch of work in these when I'm done, but I saved a little money, have something no one else does, and can say I did it myself
