New HVAC because it will actually cool the whole truck, and it is free. Extremely difficult to install !!!
Old column because I want it to still look old.
Old style cluster for same reason.
I may have to add a lower valance instrument panel to house extra things I need.

Looking good guys

Are you sure my schedule wasn't right....you're really moving on the truck right now...you might be done before your target date if you can keep this pace up

I wish I could finish early, but I'm sure I will run long.

Prime in, out, and under Everything, complete airbag system, build rear suspension, finish all body work, edge in everything, paint everything white and blue, convert A/C system, convert brake system, convert steering system, trans linkage, convert complete wiring systems, mount all under hood items, reassemble entire truck after paint, redo entire interior, whew!

Re: ** YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN** The truck Chevrolet should have built.

Sweet tailgate from Arizona cleaned up really well.

Raised floor section for gas tank is ready for seam sealer, then we can paint the bottom of cab floor, bed floor, and inside bed on Sunday.

Re: ** YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN** The truck Chevrolet should have built.

Sandblaster with good air pressure is the bomb!

Cowl panel is perfect, how better to get the paint off all the grooves?!

Bed is painted up, but night time pics are no good. Ready to undercoat bottom of the bed, and I might go ahead and Rhino line inside the bed now instead of waiting.

Re: ** YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN** The truck Chevrolet should have built.

Be careful sandblasting sheetmetal.
I've seen it warp the panels.

I have seen it myself, I figured the bed bottom wouldn't matter since it's so beat up anyway. The cowl only had the factory paint and it was so thin it took all of 3 minutes to blast the whole thing.

Re: ** YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN** The truck Chevrolet should have built.

Looks good! I'd say since it isn't perfect according to you and you plan to use it, I'd line the underside and the top.

All trucks can go forwards and backwards and side to side.

I think mine should go up and down too.

I will be waiting excitedly to see the HVAC. Are you using late as in 2000 up stock GM truck? I thought about cuttting that section out of a new firewall and grafting it in. Might also could move it out a little if necessary to clear the dash inside. Cool project!
