Re: My new build thread: Stage 4!
I have never seen body mounts without at least some rotten rubber in them!

Right on Swamprat! These have been gone for years, and I figured it was time to install the new poly set I have had for quite a while!

Not much going on here, too much work. I did get the new Ballistic fab 14 bolt cover cleaned up and painted! Just need to drain the front and rear diffs now and swap them out. Got some pic's!

Re: My new build thread: Stage 4!
Thank's mx289! Been a long project so far, but I feel I have made some progress in the last year. Right now, saving funds for some new wheels and tires next! Oh, and trying to find someone to tackle the replacement bodywork panels. Any volunteers?

Re: My new build thread: Stage 4!
Stop and pick up a little more gear oil tomorrow and diff cover swap will be done. Front diff is full, just have to top off the 14 blt rear! The Ballistic covers have way more capacity than the stock ones! Anybody know if a GovLoc needs additive? Currently running 3:73 gears, but planning on swapping out to 5:13's so I can run 40"-or 42" Nitto rubber.

Re: My new build thread: Stage 4!
Thank's Jaro, yes that pic helps. Just ordered up a secondary linkage rod from Quadrajetparts.com Same place I bought all my rebuild parts for the replacement q-jet from. Going to wait on the choke replacement parts until I swap in the 383 to see what I need to set up on the intake manifold. Been running without a choke setup for this long, I can wait a little longer for that!

Re: My new build thread: Stage 4!
Finally found the 4 row radiater I wanted! Just ordered it up. I will have to modify my new core support a bit, but that's no problem. Ran me $350.00, but only $15.00 shipping!

Re: My new build thread: Stage 4!
Cleaned up and repainted my new to me 4 core top and bottom radiator brackets. Bought used a while a go, rubbers could be replaced, but these will do. Just waiting on the new radiator!

Re: My new build thread: Stage 4!
Swyfor... try rubbing those radiator rubbber mounts with laquer thinner. They will look brand new.
