Re: OK...We've all seen your trucks...now what do you guys look like ??

i like that rad rod , would make a nice candidate for a junkyard (looking) turbosystem two turbos mounted close to the frame on the side of the engine with some 4 to 2 to 1 log manifolds made from steampipe bends , intake of the turbo facing forwarth maibe some intake bells on each side of the radiator (i seen them use pricecups for that , you could put a bullet type indicatorlight in the middle of it ) and the exaust using the same turnouts flipped left to right and pointing up so the balonycuts are pointed out .
intake simple huge diameter copper plumpingpipe mounted with a few pieces of rubber radiator hose and normal pipeclamps ending in a big round filter and a blow trough carb the blow off valve on the back of the filterhouse , the wastegates in the turbos perhabs ?

Re: OK...We've all seen your trucks...now what do you guys look like ??

The only one I have of me here, awful pic of my ugly mug (and my "custom" earplugs ), but it is me. I've got a decent one from our local car show last weekend I'll try to remember to post as soon as I can.

Looked all over for ear protection before spending an afternoon on the grinder. Since my shop is about 10 miles out from my house, it seemed more economical to make my own ear plugs. Hell they worked great, 3 hrs on/off a grinder and no ringing in my ears and no headache. Redneck with a need I guess....

No gun pics though....I'll keep what I own between myself and the woods....

Many moons ago at a Christmas party dance with a live band, we got assigned to a table right in front of the speakers. While everyone else complained about the bone rattling sound levels, I unwrapped two butter patties, tossed the butter, rolled the tin foil into balls and wrapped them with a discreet amount of paper napkin. Popped one in each ear and enjoyed the evening. Everyone at the table thought I was a jerk (probably true). Hours later the others were all sick with raging headaches, and suddenly my makeshift earplugs didn’t seem so stupid!
