Excellent work, the lines look perfect. Seeing it in primer makes me just stare and appreciate how well it all looks together. Can't wait to see the rest of it as it comes along!

I think you are doing a fantastic job. You are very skilled. As far as how the truck looks so far I'm very impressed. I don't care for the suicide door look, but you did a heck of a job on it!

Ya a chop and the suicide doors r a definite love it or hate it type thing. Most people hate a chop on anything above 1988. I hope that this truck will help people to see u can do a chop and it not look like crap ! Lol

you have Definantly Shown that it can be done, and look amazing! Im really lovinghow you re-skinned the doors and made the front fenders match, I cant wait to see more. This is one of my favorite builds on here. Of course its probably all the fabrication, and welding. 2 things I love to do my self. Just need more tools...

Oh I love the chop. You pulled it off nicely. But you are right most people don't care for em on the trucks unless they are much older rides. You really don't see a lot of well pulled off chops on late models.

My only beef with suicided doors is that its such a mini truck thing. Honestly though if that truck was for sale and I was in the market I would keep everything just as you are doing it. I look forward to seeing the finished ride.

I guess I never thought of it as a mini truck think but I can definitely agree with that. I've been more old school on the stuff I've done and wanted to bring a little more stockish (not a word! Lol) flow to the suicide doors for this build. I have installed a few aftermarket kits and they always look cheap and well aftermarket! Lol . I like the look of the dodge stuff and pins and bushings r easy to get and cheap. Brannon wanted everything on the truck to have a stockish feel to it . Not cheap or aftermarket. Of course that usually means custom! Lol.

Bruce your work is outstanding. I kept looking at the picture in post 495 thinking to myself that profile looks familiar...then it hit me when reading your post above. The cab only pic lends itself to the profile of the newer body style dodge ram single cab. The chop is what I think gives it that feel.

On board with this one.....Brannon here's the Marquez lites.....digitails were able to get me a set....Sometimes Marquez stuff is slow to receive.....they are flawless..............Jim

Yup, I know what you're saying. This truck has already hit me hard in the wallet, but I don't want to regret anything. If it takes longer, it just takes longer. The headlights that I'm going to use are the same price. It's the same headlights in the Goodguys truck. They're around $850, matching fog lights are $350....

Been a lot and a lot more to come. The cab and front fenders have cost $10,000 including tear down of both trucks....

these are not the 825's....the one's brannon wants ( the one piece) are the 825's.............jim
