Re: my '64 c-10 swb project with steel floor from a '70
well I did get something done these last weekend! got my grille welded, I cut the bracket on the R and then made two cut so I could bend it back same! then hammer and dolly it a lil, look a lot better since the R was off center on the support bracket! then on sunday my buddy broke my back glass for my truck that I did plan on putting in this last weekend! and he said he will pay for it, plus drive me 2hrs. to Bentonville to get a smoke grey back glass, I think i'll get my side glass well i'm there too!, it's only $129 for the side glass set!

I have a 1964 C-10 long bed and want to also put a metal floor. Did the 78 also come in a long bed?

Re: my '64 c-10 swb project with steel floor from a '70
thanks flips for the comment!
I haven't been on in awhile, and I haven't got much done on the truck lately! I've let life get in the way and have been in neutral! the wife don't like here job, I don't care about mine, it pays the bills! but after talking with the wife the last two week! we are going to move up to Tulsa, ok. about 1 1/2-2 hrs. away with better jobs and her family lives up there around income tax time! I've got a few friends that are going to help with getting a job and a house up there for me when that time comes! its just where we live now its getting harder to find any good jobs! if I could move now I think the wife would start packing! I did get my passenger side rear fenderwell widened put didn't get pics of it, I will this next weekend! i'm still going to work on the truck, its just around feb.-march i'll be moving!!

Re: my '64 c-10 swb project with steel floor from a '70
good to see ya back chad, hate to here about the job trouble but totally understand about not having a lot of work in the area, just south of us is the carpet capital, Dalton ga. and they were hit extremely hard, lots of people out of work and plenty others having to take jobs way below their skill levels just to feed their families. hope the move will be exactly what yall need, plus it will be good to be close to family.

ok pics of the passenger side rear wheelwell tubbed! got some hammer and dolly work to do, and add a lil filler, then strip the inside of the bedsides down! i'm going to do a spray in bed liner, but I think its to hot here to do it, so i'll wait til its a lil cooler to spray it!!
