Re: 68 S/C update.....

Finally something to update! I can't believe this "2 week project" has taken almost 3 months, . Oh well. I have the new headers installed and they tuck up real well. I just need to find time to take the truck to my muffler guy so he can do a complete new exhaust system that will include 3 chamber Flowmasters, H-pipe, new tips and electric cutouts.

No cutouts yet, but within the week. I did fire it up with the open headers, and I can tell it doesn't have a problem breathing now, .

, I've been busy with a new job and family stuff. I have gathered a few parts for my Son's truck. He didn't like the step bed so we sold that and will be putting on a new fleetside. I also picked up a painted steel bumper so, we're are still going to try and keep the same theme.... How's your truck coming?

, in due time, . I still have a few minor things to finish first. Today, I installed a new lower panhard bar bracket that I got from NoLimit. It allowed me to lower the mounting point on the driver's side, thus giving me clearance for my aluminum rear end cover.

Rob I posted this question over on No Limits 72 build. Do you think you would have room to exit your exhaust to the rear if you were using their rear shock relocation kit in combination with their panhard bar and the rear mount tank?

Yeah I know you do, but do you think it would work if you had the No-Limit rear shock relocation kit?

I just looked at Rob's (No-limit) pictures and I think it would be possible. You will need to find an exhaust guy that is willing to take the time to do it, but it looks do-able.

I must say your truck looked wicked sitting in that parking lot Under that light last night. I could hear it picking a fight with the other cars that drove by.
