Re: How about some pics of Static Dropped C-10's

You will just need the correct proportioning valve at your master cylinder. one off a 71 or 72 will work

I am sure I missed it somewhere. How low can you go with out modifying the frame and loosing a lot of ride quality? ece 4.5/6"?

You got it. Personally I think 4/6 just for the alignment issues. But 1/2" should not do much.

My 67 CST
Truck was already lowered when I got it. ECE components. Look about like a 4/5 or so. Today removed the 17's and put on the new Ridler 645 20's.

Re: How about some pics of Static Dropped C-10's

Just finished installing new stock height front springs, Moog 6082, and McGaughy's 2.5" drop spindles. Unfortunately the new spindles hit my 4.5" backspaced 15"x 10" wheels so now I'm wheel and tire shopping. In the picture I've got 7/16 spacers on the front wheels so they are sticking out extra far.

Re: How about some pics of Static Dropped C-10's

1979 Big 10 with 4.5/6 drop no notch. Kept 8 pack leafs in, and still have 3" between rear end and frame. Measured 4.5" drop in front and 6.25" drop in rear. Truck is level at 26.5" to the middle of the fender wells.

Western Chassis 2.5" spindles and 2" coils
Belltech rear flip kit, no notch
Belltech shocks 4" front 6" rear
No shock extender brackets.

Wheels to come....

Talking Re: How about some pics of Static Dropped C-10's

I still need to get some better pics but I swapped my 2" lower front springs with cpp's 3" lower. Was concerned about issue some have had but everything worked out great and the turning radius decreased which was nice. I do plan on going to a 3/4 length header soon and routing my exhaust for clearance. Got rid of the gap above the front tire tho and I don't feel sick looking at it anymore. Lol
The last pic was the day I traded for it. Altho it's hard to prolly tell, the truck is night and day different. No more air shocks, squeaking, bouncing, stalling, overheating, brake problems... This thing doesn't miss a beat and has never left me stranded. We've grown close.
