Re: Hazel the older Sister....
I would like more info on the trailer fender mods ( and templates) where those 13" fenders when you started...I have mocked up some 8" but they arn't wide enough also how about a pic of the fenders in and the wheel turned???
thanx I'm fighting the fender issue too!! Jeff

Re: Hazel the older Sister....
Fenders started out as 10 3/4 and I used another set to widen them. They were 32" round but I shrunk them down to 30 3/4 to fit better on the firewall. I don't have anymore pictures with the fenders on and the truck is all apart......again and it will be a few months before it's back together again.......sorry.

Re: Hazel the older Sister....
any chacne you could measure the width now..or maybe you remeber how wide they are?? It would be nice if the 13" ones did the job...

Re: Hazel the older Sister....
I'm 13 at the widest point so the 13"s will work....If you find some that are 13 wide and 32" round please let me know......I only paid 12 dollars each for these so that's why I used them and spliced them together.

Re: Hazel the older Sister....
I found some just like those and the problem is that 36" long will get into your firewall....If your running a 28-29 tall tire a 32" long fender is almost perfect. I shrank mine down a little to fit the firewall so if you do find those 13" X 32" long fenders....you'll save yourself a lot of work that I had to do, keep us informed.

Re: Hazel the older Sister....
kool
maybe what can be done is cut the lip and straighten it out for the front to mount to the rad support....if not then making them shorter is way easier than makeing them longer?? and for the $$ can't be beat .....that price was a pair............. I did notice in my 8" mock up that if you unroll them a bit to fit the wheel well they almost slid into place..it would be just a matter of welding in some mounting points..my only concerd is to get them high enough to be able to turn with out them hitting on the inside....while just clearing the fender lip...riding low is nice but if you can't turn its useless |

Re: Hazel the older Sister....
Same here. I bought a bunch of Grade-8 hardware from Tractor Supply hoping the sizes they offered would work. Last night I played around w/them & of course I need the 'in between' size..... I need to get more hardware in the right length (I needed 1.25" bolts).

Re: Hazel the older Sister....
Uhh, judging by the quality of this truck, I have a seriously hard time believing that.
