Re: 1969 Camaro "Yenko" Clone
So last nite I got in a few more hours, got the rear bumper on, taillights in, seats all finished in the car, visors in and rearview mirror. Heck I even sorted everything out in the garage for parts and made the final list of things to do on the Back Burner!!! getting there. Funny thing, I quite at 1 in the morning working and sat on my escalade seat out there and fell asleep, I woke up early this morning and went into the house had a shower and went back to sleep for a couple of hours.

Re: 1969 Camaro "Yenko" Clone
I hate you, jk, but seriously I do lol. I have a 70 rs I was planning a quick lil fix up to drive and I wanted to use 5.3 right now for fuel savings, but hearing the bbc has me second guessing myself.
On another note I might of missed this but where did you get your 1/4's from? I need a set or two. Those looked like a decent fit?

Re: 1969 Camaro "Yenko" Clone
Well, the last couple of weeks have been a long time coming. I got 95% of the car officially done. Sorry for no updates but been extremely busy. Last week The Car club in town here holds their annual car show, this year it was the 51st one and they asked me to help judge and set up. No problem, I needed a break anyway. So I am down there Thurs nite and they needed a spot filled. Well they said James how close is that car to being done, I told them it was a ways yet, but mostly together minus a few intems. So at ten that nite we came to my house and loaded the car up for the car show. had to throw the door panels on it and a few other things just to make it presentable. I started it outside at the show to drive it in and ther ewas a ton of ppl come running outside to see it!!! that Felt good. Thanks Don and Tyler for the help that nite.

Re: 1969 Camaro "Yenko" Clone
On Saturday, my wife's family came into town for a suprise birthday party, included in this was Graham and Heather, the owners of "Back Burner". They came to the house and I brought them out to the garage, hmmm no car, Well I gave them passes to the show and the Family went to it. I showed them the car and they were stunned< right guys!!! ANyways, that nite when we came back to get the car, there was a little suprise waiting there for us!!! !st place in our class for an unfinished car!! So cool. We loaded it up on the trailer that nite and got it home around midnite. The next day the family came over and I brought her outside, WOW is all I can say.

Re: 1969 Camaro "Yenko" Clone
Well, It has been a frustrating week. seems no much wants to go right, had to get the carb kinda redone, and then we got it tuned for the most part. Had the fuel tank in and out 5 times!!!! so sick of it. got the interior lights hooked up, and checked everything else out. so far so good.
