Alrighty so here's a small update. Got the bell housing painted. Another thing checked off the list. Will get the bell crank, and inspection covers done Sunday sometime. Slowly but surely.

Found my problem up in the circuit board. Either a loose connection or a bad ground some wheres. Luckily its all coming apart soon anyhow!
