Re: "Rice Rocket'
haha it better!!
Its actually gonna look the same but run a HECK of alot better! I cant wait! Ok got headbolts torqued down to 70-75 ft lbs tonite and gettin' ready to mount my intake, got lifters/pushrods in too. im havin fun oh I also got alot of stuff (motor brackets acesories steam cleaned along with my front suspension stuff, i just took the inner fenders out and went at it with junk and steam jenny. Im probably (if i can keep from messing with it more than i need to) going to take it all apart and paint wire wheel it all. I rebuilt the suspension, last summer I think, i just put it back on greasy things I want clean lol But thats all for tonite!

Re: "Rice Rocket'
Ok, got a water pump today, painted it flat black with high temp paint. and mounted the pulley on it. Heres a pic:
Tomorow:Get rocker arms on (I am slow because I never done this before, and not sure how to do it or the 'proper way'). Thanks heres the latest pic of the motor. I got like a gallon of purple power im ready for the teardown with no pressure washer!!!!!!!!! Ok heres my dizzy. Im not really sure what im lookin' at to be honest. I know that some of the wires have the insulation ripped off. I need to fix this, whats the best way? Should i get a new cap/rotor. Ive already got a spring/weight kit. Thankss

Re: "Rice Rocket'
I'd personally paint them the same as the water pump. Then have a few chrome pieces to pop off that...

Re: "Rice Rocket'
I was thinking the stainless hardware and if you look on craigslist I'm sure you could score some really cheap SBC dress up parts (air cleaner, breather, pcv, pulleys, etc...)

thats not fun, after its clean it will be fun and the pressure washer is still tore up should have it in another week, but we start school about 8th of AUG. It HAS To be done by then, heres a few pics whats the best way to get this nasty ol grease offa stuff? I got some purple power, and a garden hose, i think I can use a steam cleaner (maybe) but its about 2 miles down the road(backroads i could tow it)
